This massage addresses these four parts of you, thus encouraging balanced energy flow from the top of your head to the tips of your toes, from your inner cells to the energy field that surrounds you.
All the modalities that we offer here at The Body Center work to assist our clients in achieving their balance.
The Physical body (like the crust of the earth) has Land masses (bones & muscles), Oceans (organs), Lakes (glands), Tributaries (veins and arteries), Rivers (lymph and nerves), and a beautiful Atmosphere (skin and hair). All of these pieces must be balanced to live in comfortable harmony with each other.
The Mental Body (like the mantel of the earth) is much more than the brain, every cell has amazing potential. DNA has been brought down through the ages and has its own incredible expression. In order to bring balance to all our bodies, we need to understand that “there are reasons” why we are the way we are ... be grateful for our state of being, and gently ask for clarity and healing.
The Emotional Body (like the molten core of the earth) is forever turning ... swirling. Many of us have emotional walls up that inhibit the natural flow of emotions. We stop the swirl - we become stuck (as if in quick sand). We need to replace resentment and fear with love, hope, and acceptance. Forgiving and loving ourselves first then allows us to love and forgive our fellow humans.
The Soul (like the solid core of the earth) is where our spirit lives. By healing and integrating the Physical, Intellectual, and Emotional bodies we allow the light of our soul to shine through. We are at peace - animated in form. We are the living temples of God.
